Alyssa Kanis: Jacobsin
I view this broadened day as a gift sent down from above, as a savior hovering above the darkened clouds disguising the beam, as a warm ball of heat bringing life too those who have once been looked down upon, who have had their intelligence shunned from society, who have been shot mentally by the nobility. The torturous massacre, the deaths of what are being called "innocent people" has brightened the light beaming down upon me far brighter than I had expected. If these so called actions are what it takes too quiet the men and woman who oppose the new born revolution , if these so called actions will strengthen our republic, if these so actions are for the good of our nation, then let it continuously rise and surpass our full attention. Our attention has been stolen by our success of the overthrown monarchy. Our attention instead now to be set on the less privileged and the less noticed out of our ancient regime systematical viewpoint. Fired to fury by real and imagined grievances those have passed have saved our equality, our independence, and our progressive thought of this Enlightened period. We have accomplished gaining what we have not once had. We have accomplished to feud against a counterrevolutionary plot in order to turn this into our revolution, for the people of the people. I view this broadened day as a new beginning, and I vow too uphold my power for the sake of my independent republic to turn this beginning into a happy ending. A happy ending that will forever outdo those who have suffered now to influence greatly then.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more. This glorious day is a gift from above that shines the brightest of lights on our revolution. These "innocent people" deserved each bullet and with each bullet the clouds above this revolution spread apart to expose brighter sunlight. I agree these actions of ours have quieted the people who don't support our revolution. So, I say "Lets keep going!" Let's make make those who don't support us, our enemies, fear us and from this we can make the revolution stronger. Our ideals haven't changed, but we have taken different approaches on how we put them into action. This day is one of the many days that will where we, the supporters of the revolution, will look back upon with pride. The flame of the revolution has begun to burn brighter.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the both of you! This day was a wonderful occurance, in the radical's opinion. Every single person that was killed deserved to be dead right now. What they did was not a good action, and I believe that this will help us to progress through the revolution together. This event has just made everyone more mad than they were before. This will help us come closer to reaching our goal, and hopefully creating the republic government that we all want.
Jacobin(Sarah Schumacher): Amen! I say Amen! Yes my fellow Jacobin the day has come! We are so close to freedom, I feel it in my bones and taste it on my tongue! The deaths are recoverable, they died for the bettering of France! Hooray! Hooray! Freedom is near! Hooray! Hooray! Freedom is near!
