Pertaining To Today's Discussion
When we discussed Malala and the Nobel Peace Prize in class today, I was reminded of this inspirational cartoon. The website, Zen Pencils, takes meaningful quotes and illustrates them. This particular quote is from Malala, if anyone is interested.
I believe that Malala is a true rule model. It amazes me that at the age of 11 she wrote a blog about her life in Pakistan, which became very popular and well known. She was just a very young girl who wanted to go to school to receive an education. It amazes me that she had so much courage to stand up and talk against people who could hurt her and her family. She is truly an inspiring young woman.
