Thomas Malthus (Michael Kowalski)

Jobs is what drives our economy. But these jobs could be going to better use than being where they are currently located. Suppose we were to outsource this essence of our nation, what would happen? Wondrous things, that is what! Doing so would open so many more doors to business. Having workers work else where and make stuff for our business men would be extremely profitable. Doing so would not only result in large profits but cheaper goods too. having goods cheaper making it far more convenient for the populous to spend more money thus boosting the economy, like an inverted waterfall, and just as beautiful. Also those workers would not be using our resources. Having more resources to preserve allows for us, as a society, to prolong my insightful Malthusian Dilemma (I know I am so modest). This is why we must do this fellow economists. I expect all of you to follow suit and agree.

Malthus, I think you are being quite selfish and you are disregarding many people.Yes, jobs do drive our economy, but there will not be enough jobs in our country to have even a somewhat strong economy. Nobody that is working right now will have jobs, meaning thousands will be unemployed, unhappy, and go back into poverty! Do you really want more discontent people to be living on the streets, unhappy with their government? Do you remember what happened in France last time the people were unhappy with their government? Bloodshed. I rather this not happen, but its possible. And as for cheaper goods, well they would not get any cheaper because our economy would be so weak from attempting to care for the poor conditions of its people that we would need to raise prices to sustain a substantial amount of money. Keeping jobs in our country would ensure a strong economy, which is just what we need right now.

You see realty is quite the contrary. I have been think about the majority. Only some would lose jobs and there are jobs that will never leave. Having these companies outsourcing jobs allows for lower prices so the poor can afford them. In conjunction it also benefits our economy and thus our government. If vagrancy would be such an issue among these workers the government then would have the funds to deal with the situation. However this scenario does not work both ways and thus it is key to outsource the jobs.

Unfortunately Mr. Malthus, you are misguided. You are right that outsourcing jobs creates lower prices. However, no matter how low the cost of these items are, they still require a consumer. Outsourcing jobs overseas would eliminate a vast number of these consumers. By outsourcing jobs overseas, you are eliminating jobs in our own country. This causes the unemployment rate to go up dramatically which in turn increases the poverty rate. As you know, our economy depends on spending. With a greater number of people in poverty comes a greater number of people being extremely frugal with their money. This frugality destroys spending and thus destroys our economy.

The people whom are unemployed could easily enlist in armed services and receive and income. The government will be able to pay these people being that the economy is prosperous enough to support these people. This will allow for military expeditions to increase land and resources, thus prolonging the Malthusian Dilemma. So you see this all comes back to things prospering in the end and that is all that truly matters.

A country can not truly prosper when the working class is being suppressed by a rich middle class business owner. He must send jobs over seas if workers are to unite. This is there true destiny. To rule the means of production and to create a classless society. The workers will unite themselves not upon land borders but upon wealth and class. This is why we must send jobs and workers across the seas so that the WORKERS MAY UNITE!

  3. Engels, I highly disagree with your statements. First off, its is not for the greater good if only a minority benefit from sending jobs overseas. The only people that would benefit from this is the bourgeoisie or middle class. They are only a small portion of our population. Secondly our own economy would tank because of having no jobs here in the in our homeland.
