Franklin Roosevelt (Brian Gemma)

Germany's invasion of Poland is an awful act committed by Hitler and the German people. There was no need for this to take place. All of the people under the rule of Hitler and the Nazi party need our help to escape this horrible leadership. We, as the United States would love to help them, but unfortunately, I am unable to do so. As leader of the United States, I do not want to put my citizens or soldiers in the danger of another World War. We will continue to stay neutral. This does seem harsh, but I must do what is best for my people. Other countries will take a stand and help these poor people. Germany is clearly a country that must be controlled. None of their actions can be justified. The segregation against Jews in their country is awful as well. The people of Poland are going to have a rough time dealing with Hitler and German rule. I do not want my people to even have the risk of facing this punishment. That is why the United States will remain neutral and stay out of this war.

  1. Dear Franklin, as you can see, nothing is being done about his ways of ruling. Why do you believe that no one has tried to stop him? See, the thing is you are not a dictator and you don't need more land to prove your strength since your country is so far away from the action. Being a dictator requires time, strategy and of course the people. We need to prove to our country that we are strong leaders and a powerful nation and that is why we dictators take over other countries. Weak nations need our help and taking over them is not a punishment, its a gift. When we implement our ways in foreign countries, we make them stronger by strengthening ourselves. I am glad that you are staying neutral mr. Roosevelt because it is dictators like us that don't hesitate to take out our biggest enemies. Farewell my friend and I hope you choose right when it comes down to choosing a side in a war.
Best of luck with your nation,
    Benito Mussolini

Please sir, I bet for you to reconsider what you said. This war may not be affecting us at this moment but it will at some point. We cannot hope to maintain such a neutral and isolated policy yet remain a prevalent world power. We must plan ahead and prepare before this war becomes a direct concern of ours. If we do not do this, even more Americans will suffer when the war does hurt us.
