Winston Churchill (Yash Gokhale)

Is it truly a surprise that the Nazis have invaded Poland? The beast has been allowed to grow into something quite hideous, and now it has spread itself over four lands and has not met any resistance. Germany has become a spoiled child and thinks that it can take any country it wants. Appeasement has allowed for this to happen. Now it is time to stand up and stop this madness. We can no longer sit around twiddling our thumbs as we watch the world burned down by Hitler. We NEED to go to war. There is no other way: no compromise, and no appeasement. Only a sturdy backbone and a large stick will whip Germany into shape. If we do not fight for our nation today, there may be no nation to fight for tomorrow.

You are very correct, Mr. Churchill. Germany has indeed become a poison child and something must be done. We must stop Germany and keep them from invading another country. Several nations must come together to stop this madness. Germany must be stopped before something even worse happens. Unlike you though, I do not want my country going to war. We, as the United States will stay neutral and I wish to protect my people. War is not the option for us.

  2. Well, Roosevelt, it's nice to know that you've decided to mind your own business. As for you, Churchill, I must say I was taken a little aback to see you speak so hypocritically of Germany. After all, it's not like Britain achieved such great international power without taking similar actions. Yes, I will admit that Hitlers methods may be a little more straight-forward - and effective, of course - but Germany is certainly not the only country to seek power through the conquering of nations. Even countries like France and your own Britain have spread their influence far and wide in search for more power worldwide, so why do you suddenly have the right to judge Germany for what they did?

I believe you need some guidance, Roosevelt. It seems as if you think standing up to Hitler will work, and I can assure you it will not. One cannot intimidate Hitler- a fascist ruler with more power in his finger than your entire body. Good luck

  4. Mr. Churchill, well said. We must rally our troops and defend our allies! Germany is out of control and we must do something about it. Germany has become much too spoiled. Losing the first World War, they should be have been humbled. Instead, we appease them! We help them rebuild their country, and they pay us back by declaring war.

I agree. We need to rally our troops and help out Great Britain and France. If We continue to let Germany invade "one more" country all of Europe will be under Germany's power. We can't let that happen or the jewish people will suffer all around Europe.
