Louis 18 (Kyle Sjoberg)

This is insane like always! More revolutions have spread through out the entire world. Revolution has been spreading through Europe and now South America. Haiti just recently revolted. I don't really care about Haiti, but they definitely should not have won the revolution. Soldiers should have swept out the rebels and stopped the madness. I could do a better job ruling Haiti. They need to calm down and work it out. Even though the "won" independence, I don't think they will survive very long. They need a good leader who could lead them to success. Like me for example, I could easily govern them. Too bad I have too much work dealing with France. My advice to them is to get a good ruler and figure out how they can make Haiti a better place.

    Louis 18,

I understand that as a ruler and leader, you may think that revolutions are wrong, but if you were to switch places with a peasant or slave you would not think the way that you do know. Not everyone is born to live like royalty, let alone be one. You should consider yourself lucky. There needs to be a fair government, not one where there is only one leader. If only you could switch places with the poor slaves, then you would without a doubt sacrifice your life to win a revolution.

Louis 18, I think you would be a great ruler for Haiti as well, but let them be. They just fought a pointless war to be independent, and although it would be an easy win now because their resources and strength is low, they finally got what they wanted. If anything give them some tips on how to debate this without a revolution, or help them with their new government. I'm happy they finally got their freedom, but I feel that someone will come along and sweep them up again. I just hope that they have enough will to survive it.

You speak truthfully, but you are clearly biased on some of your points. There is nothing wrong with the slaves rebelling after years of suffering. There is simply a problem with the results of the revolution. I will admit that you, or any other strong King, such as myself would be much better fitted to rule the new Haiti than their government. They have a weak republic, which is not even able to maintain a strong economy. There are too many people with equal power. They cannot easily come to any decisions, at a time when Haiti needs a stable leader to succeed.

    1. Ah King George the Third, you seem to brag about yourself pretty often! Although you say strong Kings such as yourself may help these societies, God is the ruler of us all!
