Wollstonecraft (Angelica Mirandou)

Order and efficiency over liberty and equality? Are you people mad? With the word order in the new slogan peoples' minds automatically thinks of monarchy and it's that what we're trying to get away from? This so called "order" will only bring chaos because in everyone's mind order equals monarchy. This is because all the order people have known is monarchy. Since the revolution started there has been little to no order, so all the people have ever known is order in monarchy. Until French in under a stable government that word cannot be part of France's slogan. How can people even think of switching equality for efficiency? Women aren't equal with men yet we cannot replace equality for any other word until we are all equal. Equality must be the priority during this revolution and even afterwards if we women still aren't equal to men. To make women and men equal all we need is equal education for both. If the both acquire an equal education they'll both have the same knowledge to work and be a part of society. Everyone should be treated the same and until that is a reality no word can replace the word equality. The old slogan liberty, equality, fraternity should stay it makes the most sense and explains what the revolution is all about. The new slogan order, efficiency, and security reflect too much on what we are trying to break away from with this revolution.

  1. Yes! Fraternity, brotherhood, liberty! We must not forget these old ideas, which are the building blocks of our society! FRATERNITY MUST LIVE ON!

  2. Napoleon: I am not mad! It is you who is crazy!! My new way of life using order and efficiency is much better than the old way! I will be changing France for the better.

  3. Voltaire: I couldn't agree any more! There is no need for placing such means of efficiency over sweet equality! Equality is unalienable, and I refuse to allow anyone to take away my rights. It is just unbelievable with what this Revolution has turned into! Fraternity, liberty, and equality should rule!

Don't jump to conclusions so quickly. Liberty and equality does sound good at first but it is not everything it seems. The people will love the freedom but soon they will want more. Then revolts will start again and there will be blood between the people who disagree on their beliefs. With order and security things won't get chaotic and it definitely will not be a monarchy.
